Two weeks in quarantine, without a phone and with some paint and canvas for company. Here’s the end result, clicked with my new iPhone:
But we’ve been busy since then. We need to renew our registration and complete some documentation before Antara can start on her second season. But first, we gave her a good scrubbing to deal with the moss resulting from the torrential rains.
Then we checked all the fittings to ensure everything is right and tight!
The RINA surveyor, a young chap, who had heard of Dilip’s exploits, while still in school made quick work of her first survey. We motored around on the river while he checked off the survey list.
First survey done, we now need to take her out of the water to clean up the barnacles and repaint her hull. Our next update will be all about those blisterin’ barnacles.
